Sophia Housing Cooperative Inc. located in the heart of Toronto, since 1929. Sophia Housing provides quality affordable accommodations, steps from an abundance of green space and parks. This not for profit mixed income coop comprises of red brick townhouse style units and wheelchair accessible units. The aesthetic beauty of neighbourhood is defined by tall and statuesque trees that line our street.
Many of our residents are families and have raised their children here, young professionals, seniors, and founding members. Sophia promotes and maintains a respectful and diverse community. We believe that our diversity makes us stronger.

So many different variety of plants, flowers, and trees can be found in our garden that we take pride in. We even have a section of vegetation for our members that the garden committee maintains. Having vegetation in the city is something that was demanded from our members to promote a healthy life style. Everyone contributes to the garden and it builds a stronger community.
